Risk assessment in the protection of persons, property and business is the foundation of establishing a system that will recognize every type of danger, i.e. every threat to people and property.
RISK ASSESSMENT
The risk assessment is carried out in accordance with the requirements of the SRPS A.L2.003:2017 standard, which refers to risk assessment in the protection of persons, property and business, with its adaptation to the specific issue and standard.
Risk assessment in the protection of persons, property and business is the foundation for establishing a system that will recognize every type of danger, or every threat to people and property. This study is primarily aimed at prevention, but it must also contain a series of measures whose implementation will minimize the consequences of harmful events and emergencies to the greatest extent possible.
Legal obligation of every entity in the public and private sector, defined by the Law on Private Security and Article 3 of the Regulation on Detailed Criteria for Determining Secured Facilities and the Method of Performing Their Protection, which uses any form of physical or technical protection or security services provided by third parties or has its own resources for securing persons and property in the function of business security.
Article 3. of the Regulation on detailed criteria for determining mandatory secured facilities and the manner of performing their protection tasks (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No. 98/2016) defines that the protection of mandatory secured facilities is carried out by applying physical, technical and physical-technical protection measures based on the Risk Assessment in the protection of persons, property and business. Mandatorily secured facilities include:
Facilities designated by law, special regulation or decision of the competent authority as special facilities for the defense of the country.
- Facilities defined by law, special regulations, or decisions of the competent authority as special objects for national defense.
- Facilities of city authorities or local self-government units.
- Halls, arenas, and other enclosed venues intended for public gatherings, with a seating capacity of 5,000 or more people.
- Stadiums and other open venues intended for public gatherings, with a seating capacity of 20,000 or more people.
- Open and closed shopping centers with a surface area of 10,000 square meters or more.
- Transport Infrastructure Facilities: Bus and railway stations in cities with a population of over 50,000 residents.
With such a project, every organization receives a highly valuable document that serves multiple purposes and also acts as the foundation for developing a business security management system.
